Salvia sclarea is the scientific name for sage moscatella, a small herbaceous aromatic plant. It is a very fragrant variety of sage and able to decorate the land in which it is grown. It has interesting beneficial properties that make it usable in phytotherapy and aromatherapy as well as for the preparation of culinary recipes.

This plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family is native to the Mediterranean. The wild plant has velvety leaves on both sides with a slight down with a slightly serrated edge and typical purple flowers.

How to use

Diffusion: pour 4 drops into the diffuser or inhale the aroma directly from the bottle

Topical use: It can be applied neat (without dilution). Apply on the reflex points and / or directly on the area to be treated

For the massage mix 5 drops with 10 ml of carrier oil.

Internal use: one drop in 125 ml of liquid.

• Combine with dōTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil to massage, soothe or hydrate the skin.

• During the menstrual cycle, bring relief to the abdomen by applying Clary Sage essential oil to the affected area of the abdomen and massage gently.

For the bath, mix 8 drops with epsom salt and add to the water.

• To perfume the skin, mix 1 drop to 10 drops of fractionated coconut oildōTERRA.

• For a massage, mix 5 drops with 10ml of carrier oil.

• Enhance your shampoo and conditioner by adding two drops of Clary Sage essential oildōTERRA
