In ancient times, Myrrh was considered so precious that it was paid for by its weight in gold. The essential oil is extracted from the gummy resin of a small thorny tree and has been used for centuries for its beneficial internal and external properties. Myrrh has a very long tradition of use as a perfume, incense and medicine, as well as in the embalming process and in religious ceremonies. He is a powerful oneantibacterial, especially for the mouth and throat and also has a calming effect on the skin, thus helping to maintain a smooth and fresh complexion as well as promoting balance andemotional well-beingwhen used in aromatherapy.

Cicatrizingapplied to the skin, diluted in a vegetable oil, it is effective for eczema, skin cracking, wrinkles and wounds.

Expectorantif inhaled,  it is a valid remedy against cough, colds, and colds.

• Add 1 drop to the toothpaste for a better cleansing action.

Gargle: in a glass of warm water put 5 drops of myrrh. Give prolonged rinses, at least twice a day, against ulcerations and infections of the mouth.

Diffusion: Three or four drops in a diffuser for coughs, colds and to disinfect the room air.

Internal use: Dilute one drop in 125 ml of liquid.

Topical use: For massage, add 5 drops to 10ml of carrier oil.

For the bath, mix 8 drops with epsom salt and add to the water

To perfume, mix 1 drop with 10 drops of carrier oil.
